Last updated: September 29, 2026

Faith Church ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit FaithChurch.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Faith Church is a local church community. Our website address is https://faithchurch.com. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us using the contact information at the bottom of this page.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, such as when you:

  • Fill out a contact, connection, or "Plan Your Visit" form
  • Submit a prayer request
  • Register for an event, class, or ministry
  • Sign up for our email newsletter or text updates
  • Give online
  • Leave a comment on our site

This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and anything else you include in your message. We also automatically collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your questions, follow up with you after a visit, pray for you, manage event registrations, send you updates you have asked for, process gifts and provide giving statements, and improve our website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Prayer requests

Prayer requests are shared only with our pastoral staff and prayer team unless you give us permission to share them more widely. Please avoid including sensitive details about other people without their permission.

Online giving

Online gifts are processed by a secure third-party giving provider. Faith Church does not store your full credit card or bank account numbers on our website. Your payment information is handled according to the giving provider's own privacy policy and security standards.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information shown in the comment form, along with the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images on the site.

Photos and videos taken at church services and events may appear on our website and social media. If you would prefer that an image of you or your child not be used, please contact us and we will remove it.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to make the site work properly and to understand how visitors use it.

  • Comment cookies: If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies so you don't have to enter them again. These last for one year.
  • Login cookies: If you log in, we set cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days (or two weeks if you select "Remember Me"), and screen options cookies last for one year. Logging out removes the login cookies.
  • Analytics: We may use tools such as Google Analytics to see general, anonymous information about site traffic, like which pages are most visited. This helps us improve the site.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as expected.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content such as sermon videos, livestreams, maps, or social media posts. Embedded content from other websites (for example, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, or Google Maps) behaves the same way as if you had visited that website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, include additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, especially if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your information with

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the church and website, such as our website host, church management software, email newsletter service, and online giving provider. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the safety of our congregation.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required for legal, tax, or administrative reasons (for example, giving records). Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up comments can be approved automatically.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information provided in the user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. This does not include information we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message, or reply STOP to any text message.

Children's privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian. Children's ministry registrations should be completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards, including a secure (HTTPS) connection, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
