GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as an armor bearer at the discretion of the Lead Pastor
- Make every effort to bring the vision of Faith Church to life
- Act in the capacity of an executive level team member, in addition to specific CFO duties, guiding and driving the mission and vision of the church forward
- Responsible for Finance, Facilities, IT, HR, Academy, Administration and our Portico/Source (coffee shop and bookstore)
FINANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform and execute the forecasting of future years and expected growth with emphasis on a rolling 6-12 months
- Responsible for day to day budgeting process and building systems to ensure the weekly coding and reporting is accurate
- Be proficient in the analysis of church financials and church metrics (attendance, etc.) to pull trends and identify patterns to anticipate change
- Oversee the entire budgeting process start to finish for the church
- Oversee staff members to help in the budgeting and process and the associated financial/bookkeeping/accounting responsibilities
- Prepare and develop someone to replicate his/her current responsibilities
- Work with the Lead Pastor and Executive Team to develop forecasts and budgets that align with the mission and vision
- Responsible for audited financial statements, including the liaison relationship with the external auditors
- Prepare and present monthly financials to the Executive Management Team
- Oversee the processes for the accounting systems, including general ledger, reconciliations and financial subsystems
- Perform all treasury functions such as investments, financing and banking relationships
- Design and publish key dashboard metrics, both financial and non-financial
- Prepare pro-forma financial statements for initiatives and projects, including property acquisitions and/or new ministry opportunities
- Work with all teams to provide financial support for budget and actual results
- Bring strategic insight into the financial performance of the organization
- Ensure proper controls are implemented and functioning to ensure that the organization remains beyond reproach financially
- IT – Assure that our infrastructure and day to day operations of Faith Church are meeting the current and future needs of our organization including optimizing weekend solutions and having a highly functioning relationship with the online campus and AV departments
- Facilities – Lead the team to help acquire, build out and maintain facilities that provide environments that support the vision of Faith Church
- HR – Develop and foster a system/operation that fosters a world class working (serving) environment at Faith Church, taking great care of the people who serve on our staff and attracting the talent to help us grow
- Academy – Giving monthly oversight to the Academy Director assuring that we are developing babies to Pre-K in our Monday – Friday program and sending out world changers
- Administration – Creating and implementing processes and systems that accelerate and drive the vision of Faith Church for reception, purchasing, receiving, and database
- Portico/Source (coffee shop and bookstore) – Staffing and creating an environment that reflects and promotes the values of Faith Church through hospitality
REQUISITE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Fully devoted follower of Christ
- Person of Godly character and integrity
- Embraces the mission and vision of our organization
- Effective communicator, oral and written
- 10+ years of financial management experience, including managing a financial team
- Adept at Excel and PowerPoint
