
THE POSITION:
This position is for Full Time Campus Cleaning Technician during the 1st Shift. Schedule and pay will be reviewed during the interview process.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
The right candidate will have a strong cleaning back ground preferably in a church or school setting and will be a proactive, efficient cleaning technician who possesses an understanding of proper cleaning methods and a respect for the religious and cultural beliefs of others. The Campus Cleaning Technician will ensure that all publicly accessible areas of the church are clean and ready for other staff members and the congregation to use. Campus Cleaning Technician will make minor repairs, change light bulbs, vacuum, sweep, and scrub floors, sanitize surfaces, and restock items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies. Campus Cleaning Technician may also maintain supply inventory, submit purchase requests, and assist with preparations for events, such as weddings or funerals.
To be a successful Campus Cleaning Technician, you should be observant, respectful, motivated, and committed to providing church members, visitors, and staff with a clean, orderly place to worship and congregate. You should also be knowledgeable about proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques and have the ability to make basic repairs, including plumbing and electrical work.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE:
The Cleaner will need to be a self-starter with a meticulous eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating their own work list, tracking and ordering cleaning supplies, cleaning of the church and ensuring the property is secured as well as helping to build and train a volunteer team to assist in the church cleanliness.
